Our children are growing up in a world where seemingly everything is glitter and gold. They have a rapidly growing curiosity with the things they see on television, movies, social media, and sometimes even in the home. As parents, we'd like to believe that we can control everything our children are exposed to; however, the harsh reality is that we simply cannot. But what we can provide is knowledge, perspective, and understanding to the things that intrigue them. One topic that often sparks heated debates and strong emotions is firearms. Regardless of how you feel about them, whether you love them or utterly despise them, you should, at minimum, learn about them and teach your children as well. Most times, we'll shrug it off as "my children know better." But do they really? Have you taken the time to have a conversation about firearms? Or are you uncomfortable having that conversation because you are still learning yourself? What should they do if they ever come across firearms? What should they do if a classmate decides to bring a show-and-tell? What are your rules and protocols at home if you, as a parent, own one? These are just some of the questions to begin asking ourselves. We have to remember that safety and change start with our kids. The time for doing nothing is over. No more tragedies, no more procrastination.

Cancellation Policy

NO REFUNDS. If you need to reschedule, please give us a call or email us. You have up to 48 hrs before the start of the class to do so. You may request to reschedule ONCE before needing to repay the full price as rescheduling takes away slots from other people wanting to take the course. If you cancel the day of the class or do not show up, you will need to re-pay the FULL PRICE of the class cost to reschedule. In the event VA Tactical needs to cancel a class due to weather or other unforeseen events, we will notify all participants prior to class via email and/or phone call. Please make sure the phone number and email provided are valid to ensure you receive this notice. We will reschedule all participants to the next available class and you will receive a confirmation via email. If you wish to choose a different date and the dates available do not work, you will be responsible for giving us a call and getting re-scheduled for the date when it becomes available.
